Who Am I?
Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois, I've been a performer at heart since an early age. Laughter was always present at home and I was usually the one that started it and kept it going!
I've always loved music but was never really excited about gym class - so Marching Band it was. Since the 5th grade I've been a percussionist, with a goal of being the next Sheila E - playing all the way through college.
After college, I decided to join the corporate world and live the cubicle life. But I never lost my passion for music and performing. I became an active member in several Los Angeles-based choirs and has sung background vocals for many gospel artists, including Israel Haughton, Marvin Sapp, Shirley Caesar and Donald Lawrence.
Even though I was singing everywhere, there was still another part of me that was yet unleashed - FUNNY. Funny I am and Funny I be! And the next step was moving into Acting. I've fully embraced my comedic side, performing in improv shows at the Upright Citzen's Brigade and with a sketch comedy team at Second City Hollywood. And I look forward to making the World *Smile*!
